In this class you will learn the techniques to make a textured statement ring out of fine silver metal clay. You'll get to choose a nice large cubic zirconia stone to set as the main focal point of your ring, and Sulie will show you some techniques for how to set the stones securely and decoratively.
Sulie will show you some tricks on how to attractively hide the join of the ring, a very important aspect of any ring making!
In the class you'll also discuss how to calculate sizing which can sometimes be a struggle in metal clay, and you'll get to explore some original and beautiful possibilities for decoration.
